Milestones across StellarCube® programmes — funding, field deployments, and the ecosystems we help power.

Smart Nano Advanced Connectivity Technology Access Programme grant

StellarCube® awarded Smart Nano ACTAP grant from Digital Catapult

StellarCube Limited has been supported through the Digital Catapult Smart Nano Advanced Connectivity Technology Access Programme (ACTAP), which backs SMEs to prototype connected devices, validate performance at scale, and future‑proof solutions using one of Northern Ireland’s largest private 5G testbeds.

The award strengthens our roadmap for tightly integrated public and private 5G orchestration within StellarCube® edge platforms, complementing the hybrid WAN and compute stacks we deploy for customers who need all‑inclusive connectivity on the move.

Digital Catapult accelerates adoption of advanced digital technologies in the UK. Smart Nano ACTAP will help us benchmark multiple connectivity options, optimise performance, and deploy edge applications in a live industrial environment — aligned with how StellarCube® packages hardware, orchestration, and lifecycle services.

UK railway fleet connectivity and multi‑bearer deployment

Major UK railway programme implements TFX‑SC solution

Following intensive systems integration and acceptance testing, TrainFX and programme partners have brought a TFX‑SC multi‑bearer deployment into service, delivering resilient passenger internet and operational WAN capacity from a single StellarCube® On-Go aboard the fleet.

The architecture blends managed cellular and satellite paths with onboard edge services so operators can sustain telemetry, customer Wi‑Fi, and operational traffic even when any single bearer degrades — the same “perfect internet for rail” philosophy that underpins both TrainFX and StellarCube® offers.

Besides the hardware programme and integration milestone, complementary passenger analytics and data‑plane stories are covered separately under Success stories. Product photography from the TFX‑SC rollout is available on request.
